Here's what you need to know about Leven's Christmas light switch on

The family friendly event will have plenty to keep everyone entertained throughout the afternoon in the run up to the big switch on.

This year’s light switch on has been organised by Leven Community Council with Leven Environment Group and promises a range of stalls to browse, a Santa’s grotto, rides for the kids, food and refreshments and much more festive fun.

There will be live entertainment on the stage in the High Street throughout the afternoon with performances from local community groups and performers.

On the bill to play for the crowds on Saturday are the Mary Bradford Singers (noon); Fiona Gallagher (12.30pm); Kel & Ka Hulas (1pm); Parkhill Primary (1.50pm); Amber Barclay (2.10pm); Aberhill Primary School (2.40pm); Lily Mentiplay (3.10pm); Mountfleurie Glee Club (3.40pm) and The Mosaics (4.10pm).

The Santa Parade and light switch on will then take place at 5pm.

Santa on his sleigh will parade with the leven Rose Queens and Kings ahead of the switch on.

This year, TikTok star duo ‘Daddy and Carly’ will be doing the honours and pressing the button to light up the town.

Organisers are hoping that people will come out and show their support once again for this year’s event.

Leven Community Council will be collecting donations for Levenmouth Foodbank at the light switch on event. The community council have been supporting the local charity at all of their events in 2025.

A collection point will be positioned at the left hand side of the stage on the High Street on Saturday if anyone would like to donate.
