Freshways, a Nisa Local, will be moving into the Uganda Charity Shop at the West End End of the High street after undergoing a complete overhaul of the previously empty premises.

The owners of the new shop have made several major improvements to breathe new life into the store, and plan to open next month when restrictions ease allowing other non-essential retailers to also open.

Gemma Bell, communications manager for Nisa Retail Limited, said: “The Nisa Local store has undergone a full refurbishment and the independent retailer who operates the store is looking forward to re-opening in April, once lockdown restrictions are eased and neighbouring non-essential retailers are also allowed to open to shoppers.

“The store will offer a great range of products and services to customers and staff are keen to welcome them back soon.”
