150th Open in St Andrews: Justin Rose withdraws ahead of tee off

Justin Rose has withdrawn from The 150th Open at St Andrews due to a back injury.

The Englishman, who has played every Open since 2006, is believed to have injured his back during practice.

He made the decision to pull out just before his scheduled 8.14am tee off time.

He has been replaced by Rikuya Hoshino of Japan.
